267: Holy Hour for the New Pope

Location: Saint Michael Church

We will gather together as one small part of the Body of Christ to pray for the College of Cardinals who will be electing the new pope at the Conclave in Rome. The service will feature Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Word of God, and beautiful meditative music in the style of the Taizé Community. We will light 267 candles in the sanctuary – 266 for the past Holy Fathers who have served the Church and one for the successor to the Office of Peter who will soon be chosen. All are welcome as we ask for the Holy Spirit to guide the cardinals as well as the pope that they elect.
