Rev. Jiwon Yoon

Fr. Jiwon accompanied his parents and 3 siblings to the USA—Lexington, MA—from S. Korea when he was 16 years of age to pursue a strong education. He describes himself as a “typical Asian nerd”, entering Boston College as bio chem major. But it wasn’t for him. Graduating with a degree in Art at Rhode Island School of Design, he went to work in his family’s flower business before entering St. John’s Seminary. He was ordained in 2014 and has been serving the people of St. Margaret and St. Malachy in Burlington. When he’s not ministering to the flock, Fr. Jiwon enjoys reading and fishing, especially with his nephew!
